Our rooms are designed for both you and your four-legged friend – cosy beds, plenty of space to sprawl, and all the comforts of a Homewood stay. Your pup gets their very own Woof Box, packed with Lily’s Kitchen treats, food, toys and a ball. We’ll also provide cosy beds and bowls – all for just £35 extra.
Things to keep tails wagging
From 20 acres of running free to our dedicated agility course, dogs can dash through tunnels, weave around poles, and leap over jumps to their heart’s content. After all that action, tails can keep wagging with scenic estate walks and a chance to explore the Avon Valley.
We also spoil our four-legged guests with a specially curated doggy menu in our dog-friendly bar, lounges or conservatory, so mealtime is just as exciting as playtime.

We understand that for many people, their dogs are part of their family and we want them to feel welcome here at Homewood. In fact, we don’t just welcome them, we recommend that you bring them along and have designed our hotel based on your pooch getting the best out of their stay too!
We are more than happy to welcome well-behaved dogs in the hotel, but we respectfully ask dog owners to help us respect the sensitivities of all visitors, by asking you to adhere to the following guidelines when visiting us.
General house rules
We welcome all dogs in all areas of the hotel. Dogs must be kept on a lead and under control at all times when inside the building or outside on the grounds, in accordance with all UK dog laws. Please be aware that there is wildlife in the gardens that dogs may chase such as rabbits and deer. Any damage caused by your dog will incur a repair or full cleaning charge. Waste bins are provided in the car park of the hotel and elsewhere on the grounds. Please pick up after your dog. We are unable to accommodate dogs who are aggressive or who continually bark and disturb other guests. Any dog showing signs of aggression or who bites another person will be reported to the local police and be removed from the premises.
Staying with your dog
You are welcome to bring your dog to stay with you in one of our rooms charged at £35 per pet, per night. We will provide a blanket, bed, bowls and welcome pack in your room but you are of course welcome to bring your own dog bed and bowls for your four-legged friend. Please let our team know if you are leaving your dog unattended in your room for any reason. Alternatively, ask about our dog sitters who can take your dog for a walk or sit in your room with them.
Dining with your dog
You are welcome to bring your dog with you when you dine Please ask a member of our Reception team to book you a table and let them know you wish to bring your dog. We have a delicious dog menu, ask for more details when you arrive at your table.

Banned Breeds Policy
In the UK, it’s against the law to own certain types of dog. These are the:
Pit Bull Terrier
Japanese Tosa
Dogo Argentino
Fila Brasileiro
XL Bully
If you plan to bring a dog with you for your stay that is a banned breed under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 and/or as subsequently amended within the United Kingdom the following guidelines are strictly adhered to whilst the dog is visiting Homewood.
- The dog is registered with The Index of Exempted Dogs (IED) and a copy of the life certificate is obtained and provided to us before the stay.
- A copy of the Public Liability insurance certificate for the dog is obtained and provided to us before the stay.
- The dog-to-handler ratio is 1:1 at all times.
- All guidelines under The Index of Exempted Dogs are strictly adhered to and the dog must be:
- Neutered.
- Microchipped.
iii. Kept on a lead no greater than 1 meter in length and muzzled at all times when in a public place.
- Kept in a secure place so it cannot escape.
